Does the length of the string, mass on the end of the string, or the angle of the dop effect a pendulums range in swings the most in 15 seconds? The length of the string affects the most number of swings in 15 seconds? The length of the string affects the most number of swings in 15 seconds. The other two had no effect.
The length of the string had an average of 17 on the 10 cm. string, on the 100 cm. string the average was only 7. The average number of swings was 12 if there was 1 or 5 washers at the end of the string. The angle of the drop was 11 if the string was dropped at a 90 degree angle or a 10 degree angle.
I believe that the length of string had the most swings because if the string was shorter, then it took less time to complete a cycle. I think that the number of washers had no affect because if the wieght on the end of the string, then it took more time to complete a cycle. I think that the angle of the drop had no affect because if the angle of the drop was higher then it took more time to complete a cycle.

The problem is the length of the string, weight on the end of the string, or the angle of the drop effect a pendulums range in swings the most in 15 seconds. The answer is the number of washers and the angle of the drop will cause no change in the problem. But the length of string will cause change. So the length of string is the answer. The evidence of this problem is in the bar graph of the length of the string the longer the string was the longer distance it has to travel. The shorter the string is, the shorter distance it has to travel, and the more time it has to travel. Thus it will increase the shorter it is (the string) and will decrease the longer it is (the string). When I was making my observations I found one that i thought was the most impotant which was on the graph I made it look like little steps in decresing from 10(cm). I believe like I said before, that the bigger the length of the string gets the longer distance it has to travel same with the shorter it gets except it has a shorter distance to travel so the shorter length will get the most swings. And the length of string is the only thing that will change in this experiment.Cline-MalaynaThe problem is does the length of the string, weight on the end of the string, or the angle of the drop effect the pendulums range in swings the most in 15 seconds. The thing that happen was when we drop the string and 15 sec. was over we kept getting the same numbers like 8,9,15,18,12,10,7,11,16, every time we got a different string . But mostly every string we got was mostly like either go the same number on the first two test and a different number on the last test. Or we got all the same numbers on all three test. But also an other thing that I and are group did was when we were dropping the string I myself notice that the reason because the long string only got like little cycles because all the traveling it had to go threw. But the little string we did was it fast because it did not have that much to go threw so that means the highest was 18 cycles in 15 seconds. So also when we were done I look at my chart and said that some of the test mainly had the same amount of numbers and I also figured why it only had that many cycles in 15 seconds. So also I wanted to see if we could do longer strings because I want to see how many cycles it would be in 15 seconds. That meant I would want to because I want to compare the difference of how many cycles it would be if the string was longer and try to see what it would be.In are group at first was when we started it was wired because all of the first strings we did were all the same numbers. And also when I look at my graph I also notice that the numbers kept getting higher or lower every string. Like the string we started with was 9 cycles then 9 again then it went lower to 8 then when the string was longer it drop to a 7 then it came to the shorter string it was either 18, 16,11,15,12,. 18 was the highest we got for the 10cm. string it went fast in 15 seconds, then it came to the Average if it was all the same numbers on all the test it was the same number that we got. The Average was pretty easy because lets say we have 16 on the first test and 15 on the second and third test 15 was the Average because 16 was the only number that was different than the 15.
